Default Am I ready to bottle

This is my first batch. I'm doing an american Hefweizen.
I have been 1 week in the primary and 2 weeks in the seconday fermenter.
But I am still getting bubbles at a little slower than 1 per minute. The gravety is now 1.005. Is it slow enough to bottle or should I let it go.

Nope, that is a bottle bomb in the making if you bottle it now. What was the OG, recipe, yeast, etc. More info the better, but I doubt that is ready.

Sometimes beer in the fermenter continues to bubble through the airlock as dissolved CO2 comes out of solution so bubbles or no bubbles don't really mean too much. Your hydrometer is the tool that tells you if your beer is ready to bottle. You've checked it and it read 1.005 so read it again today or tomorrow and see if it changes. No change means you are ready to bottle. Ideally you would wait 3 days to measure the gravity again but with 3 weeks of fermenting and a reading of 1.005 I suspect your beer is ready.

huh? i don't think that beer's gonna drop much below 1.005.

OP, check the gravity again tomorrow, if its the same (1.005) you're good to bottle.
