Default Aluminum pot question.

I have a 32 qt aluminum turkey fryer pot. I have had for a number of years.
I want to start doing full boils. I know aluminum is ok for a boil kettle. But the question is can I condition this big pot for brewing I have used it many times for turkey but I dont fry turkeys any longer. Seems a waste to let it sit and collect dust. Any help would be great.

Boil up some water in it to open the pores and let the oil out. Clean it real good and you will be fine. I used to use the same kind of set up and never had a problem as long as I cleaned it real good when I was done.
