Default Alcohol Gas Sensor MQ3, anyone used it in your homebrewing?

I am on the market for a sensible and responsive alcohol sensor.

Now I googled a little bit, and found this from sparkfun.

And also this from Sainsmart.

Anyone review on these? Thank you for your help in advance.

Hmmm. Interesting. I looked at both links, and I'm not sure if they can be calibrated to determine % ABV in your brew. But, I'm definitely not an electrical engineer and some of the comments were getting thick.
I'm interested because I'm working on dealcoholizing some of my brews for a friend that loves beer but prefers not to drink alcohol. Yesterday at bottling time, I kept out 1 gallon, heated it to 179* and then put it in the oven at 170* for 1/2 hour. I then cooled it, added 1/4 pkg. yeast and bottled. I sprung for the test kit from NB(tried White labs but they don't sell retail). My SG in the untreated sample was 1.014 and the treated sample was 1.016, so I don't know if my technique was effective.
If you get either of these, and if they work, please let us know.
