Default airlock suckback

Quick question.

I had a little airlock suck back in my 8% IIPA after dry hopping when cold crashing.
I used starsan in the airlock and a little over half of the airlock was sucked in to the beer.

Should I worry about any infection or am I being crazy?

I plan on kegging tonight.

Thanks,

I wouldn't worry, especially if there is still some liquid in the airlock. Starsan is sterile, so it can't infect your beer.

Even if it could, at this point your options are dumping it or bottling it. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone suggesting you dump it based on the possibility of an infection. Lots of people wouldn't dump if the KNEW it was infected.

The starsan in the airlock would've killed any nasties that got into it. No worries.

For future reference, I use the s shaped air locks when cold crashing just for this very reason.

Thanks,
If you get an infection from Star San we are all doomed!
