I would think you could use it for a one time, but it probably is not meant to be re-used, so probably is not sanitise-able. Luck!

Use the search function and look for water bottles... You will find a bunch of threads with varying info...

So far, the most commonly accepted issue is which recycling code is on the bottle... #1 or #2 are generally considered safe... Anything other than that is suspect...
