AHBS mills my grain, so it's the same setting. I haven't read that webpage, I'll check it out, thanks!

Like you, Cacaman, my city -- Midland, Texas -- does not have a LHBS. The nearest one is in Austin, which is 325 miles away. If there's one thing I've learned in over a decade of brewing, it's that you should never leave yourself without some sort of a backup plan. Always order an extra vial of yeast (or some dry yeast, which keeps for years in refrigeration) and other critical ingredients, extra tubing, extra fittings, etc. One small mishap, as you've learned, can ruin a brew day when you only have one of everything.

Update: I was able to catch this early enough before it made a big mess! Does this look like healthy enough fermentation, or may I still get a stuck fermentation? Does it matter if I loose some of that beautiful krausen into the blowoff tube I put in?

I'd put a blow-off tube on that thing if I were you.
