Just moved to Colorado Springs from Michigan and I miss Dirty Bastard, KBS, and anything else brewed by Founders. Let me know if you can help me out.

I live a block from founders. Let me know what you need and we can trade

Anything really but specifically I'll take some Dirty Bastard, Backwoods Bastard, and any Breakfast Stouts. Is there anything you want from Colorado?

Dirtys year round, but Backwoods is long gone and Breakfast stout wont be back until September. That is unless people are pulling from their cellar.

Really? You live in Colorado Springs and you want beer from somewhere else? Sheez.... there is awesome beer in Colorado Springs.

Go to Trinity http://www.trinitybrew.com/

or

Bristol http://www.bristolbrewing.com/

Great beers! They also have days when they do a 'clearance' and sell off extra bottles, or bombers!

That being said, I understand your pain. When you find something you REALLY like and it's taken away... you miss and crave it that much more. Looks like you have some helpers!

P.S. My buddy lives in Manitou Springs. I visited last year and we drove all over Colorado visiting breweries. Something like 15 breweries in 4 days! :)

He's right. Though their website says Backwoods is available in November.

When they're in season, especially the Breakfast stout, they relatively easy to get. So I see no reasons why it would be an issue for someone to trade, just right now it may be a bit tough.

Breakfast stout is supposed to be coming on Sep 4th though.

Also your in the Springs....try Rocky Mountain Brewery. Theyre small and don't bottle, at least didn't when I was there, but Dwayne makes some damn good beer and cider. Pretty sure hes got a homebrew shop attached too. Been a while since I was there though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I defintely plan on sampling what Colorado breweries have to offer, I just need something to hold me over until I find something that comes close to what Founders puts out. If you haven't tried KBS, do yourself a favor and get some because it's awesome.
