Default Honey! Wow

Opening/Pouring/Aesthetics: Nice long pfft on opening. Nice head that prevailed, with nice lacing. Great deep golden amber color.

Aroma: Good spicy aroma, nice and malty.
Hop aroma is not there, but the malts make it very enticing. Good complex aroma.

Taste: Good malty, spicy, fruity taste. Hop bitterness is present and just enough to balance the wonderful maltiness. i'm not sure I can taste any honey, but it is truly a great tasting beverage.

Overall Impression: Wonderful beer, with a great maltiness. I wouldn't guess it as a hefe if given a blind taste test though. It doesn't have the traditional color or yeast characteristics of what I think of in a Hefe. OF course, thats why I like it! I prefer this to any Hefe I have every had, and I want the recipe.
