Someone started a thread on this exact topic a few days ago in the beginning brewing forum I believe. The general consensous was that you should go back and get the correct yeast.
Fermenting: Citrus IPA
Drinking:American Wheat, Pale Ale, Slovenian Blonde, Milk Stout
If I could figure out a way to SCUBA and drink Hombrew at the same time...well...I guess there wouldn't be anything left to try to attain in this life.
Don't sweat it. Let it ride. It'll be great. Also, yes, it's an ale.
