Default whats next!????
so tomorrow (friday 19th) i will be transferring my brown ale into secondary and i will have a nice open primary waiting to be filled!

my only problem is that i like so many different styles that ive got no idea what i should brew! i was thinking maybe a belgian tripel or maybe a porter of some sorts....

winter is coming, and im in minnesota.......

lets hear some suggestions!

i think im going to have to go with the porter guys!

any of you have a good extract 5 gal recipe i should give a shot?

otherwise im gonna drive over to Midwest supplies and get a kit

similar boat here! Got my 1st batch - a Irish Red Ale that i will transfer to secondary and I'm brewing an Oatmeal Stout over the same cake. I've been waiting all week to do it as SWMBO is in pastry school and has priority on the kitchen. But i get half days on friday so it's brew time!

alright! thats what i like to hear. friday is brew day for us then i guess.

keep me posted on how that red ale turns out, that may be the direction im heading once i bottle the cider
