holy IBU's! I might adjust that around if I was you if it really is 156IBU, that's how much I'm cramming into my 9%abv Rye Double IPA. Might dial that down just a touch. Most American IPAs check in at around 1:1, if you went 90ibu, you'd have a hell of a hoppy beer.

haha.. no way will i dial it down.. Infact from the time i posted with that to the time i actually finished brewing i ended up with this..
boil 70 mins 3.0 Nugget pellet 12.8
boil 50 mins 2.0 Nugget pellet 12.8
boil 40 mins 3.0 Nugget pellet 12.8
boil 30 mins 2.0 Nugget pellet 12.8
boil 15 mins 2.0 Nugget

242.5 IBU

DOH!!!!
so not the faint at heart didnt want the higher ABV and not tring to brew anything traditional and ready for a hell of a hoppy beer.. if its too hoppy then i finally have had a beer too hoppy.. which i still after having almost every beer i can find havent had.. ONe of the joys of home brewing..
