I just did a batch quite similar to this minus the intense hop schedule. Just a lot of bitter and some finishing. Its in primary right now but smells awesome.

Intense hop schedule? THis one should only be about 60 ibu.. the one i am brewing right now shows about 206 ibu in a 10 gal batch..

Sounds great! maybe not quite in the ESB style guidelines as far as bitterness (probably more along the lines of a british ipa) but it seems like you're a raging hophead more power to you!

Looks like an ESB tripped out on hops.

A little outside of style, but probably tasty - I love hops.

Ok just racked to secondary the ESB Alt Bier in the OP.. got the FG down to 1.012 where the beercalculator suggested 1.014-1.017 oh well.. I had a half pint of this very tasty brew and added 4oz Willamette for dry hopping in secondary .. Hope to pull it out by wed so i can force carb and have it for Christmas! really looking forward to this.. Drinking a Sierria Nevada northern Hemishphere fresh hop ale right now.. Really tasty too! http://www.beercankc.com/2010/12/2010-sierra-nevada-northern-hemisphere.html
