I brewed this back in September straight out of the box and am drnking it now. Probably the best "kit" beer I've ever made. However, I do like some of the suggestions posted here - such as bumping up the hops and adding bourbon.

One year and a half later after making this kit I opened a bottle.. amazing how well it matured! For so long (even a few months ago) it burned with bourbon, and was so harsh it was nearly undrinkable. Now it's totally mellowed out, rich, roasty, and provides a great flavor ride.

If you bottled, save them as long as you can! 1.5 years and I think this tweaked kit is just getting good.

Awesome dude. Great to hear. I'm trying to brew one every time I bottle one just to stock up so I can age some. It's hard not to drink it when it's so fresh and delicious.
