Default trying my 1st frozen starter

Froze yeast and now trying to make a starter.

Had yeast in fridge over night and took out for 3hrs and did starter and after 3.5hrs no signs of life yet...

I feel like a mad scientist. hahaha

Trying this. It will keep your yeast longer.

I do this( I didn't check the link, but you're frezing w/glycerine right?) and it works for me, really a great feeling when it works the first time! Its like, "Yes, I cut my yeast cost to pennies and will have whatever I need on hand for long time."

Yet another investment for the future. Fortunately this method looks relatively cheap compared to $6 vials of liquid yeast.
