Made this on friday, but now I'm thinking I used too much crystal:
Full boil - 5.5 gallons post boil, 6.5 gallons pre boil, 60 min boil time.
3 lb Muntons Extra Light DME
3.3 lb Briess Pilsner LME
.5 lb Crystal 40 (Steeped for 20 min @ 153F)
1 oz Tettnanger @ 60
1 oz Tettnanger @ 20
1 oz Saaz @ 5
Nottingham Ale Yeast (Temp Controlled @ 65F)
Supposed to be a pale ale/ light ale for spring, but perhaps I used too much crystal? The IBU is ~32 and the BU:GU is ~0.7, so maybe it won't be too sweet?
