feeling it my duty to taste test my beer at all phases, i popped the top on one of my bottles from my first batch today. 1 week in the bottles...

John Bull American Beer, extract kit...

Taste: semi sweet and slighty cidery..., i think this is gonna be a very good beer for my first attempt...

Looks: the picture speaks for itself. i did pour it aggressively to get the head, but all is good and moving forward. next taste test, next weekend... :ban:

That's good carbonation for only one week.

Like Mysterio said, it's gonna taste much better in about 2 weeks and even better in a couple of months.

that's what i have read from you guys, things are gonna change for the better over 2 more weeks...

i think for my first brew i am gonna be pleasently surprised...

so will my friends... :mug:

That was april 2005.

I havent taken any pictures of anything but my terrible red that is still not drinkable, due to 4oz of hops. (the red was october 2005)
