Default Sanitized bottles?

How long do you have to bottle your beer after sanitizing the bottles. Is it ok to wait a couple days? How about if you cover the bottles with a cloth after they are sanitized? Will covered bottled be ok for a week?

There is no definitive answer, but I wouldn't let them sit for more than a day. Don't cover them with a cloth if you let them sit - used sanatized plastic wrap.

Personally, I would just sanitize them when I bottle instead of risking a potential infection.

yeah, I just wouldn't sanitize until bottling day.

you'd be better off covering with aluminum foil and storing bottles upside down to prevent wild yeast spores from falling into the bottles while they sit.

or, get a bottle tree, sanitize and bottle immediately.

I don't have a bottle tree, but I do it instantly, I sanitize, sit the bottles on the counter, then get the secondary ready for bottling.
