Is this recipe ok?

i'm throwing together the following pale ale tommorrow. IS this ok?

1.5 lbs f muntons light LME
0.5 lbs of amber DME
0.5 lbs of light DME

2.25 gallons full boil

0.5 oz of nugget bittering and 0.5 ounce cascade aroma hops

is that enough hops for a 2.25 gallon full boil ?
also would you do early or late extract for a pale ale

If you're doing a full boil, there isn't much need for late extract. You'll get a lighter beer if you do, but I assume you aren't going for crazy-light in any case since you have the amber extract in there.

You could try steeping some specialty grains. US Crystal 40 L, 60L, or Marris Otter works for pale ales. There are even a few others you could use. Half a pound or so would probably help. More hops could never hurt IMO for this style. I guess it depends on your tastes.

Also, you may want to start the boil with a bit more than 2.25 gals, because quite a bit will boil off. Are you boiling for an hour? If so I would say maybe start with 3 to 3.5 gals?
