Default Racking cane delema

At the risk of sounding like a complete "nufi" can someone plese post a picture of a racking cane. I have never used one before as I don't use a secondary fermenter, I go straight into bottles. However, I seem to be in the minority doing it this way and was planning on buying a carboy and racking cane but when I asked for the Cane at my local supplier they looked at me like I had two heads. Perhaps its a terminology thing. Maybe someone from Australia could tell me what it is called here!

How do you sanitize that thing? I imagine vigorous scrubbing may cause problems...
