Default Powdery specialty grains

Just went to LHBS and got stuff for my first beer with specialty grain. The guy had a homemade power drill grinder and the output was really fine, like sawdust. I can't see my cheesecloth bag holding this in well; am I screwed if too much stays in the brew kettle for the boil?

Screwed? No. Is it better to try and avoid this? Yes. Rather than cheesecloth or the muslin "gymsock" for steeping, use a nylon paint straining bag from Lowes or Home Depot. It's a finer mesh than cheesecloth and the 5 gallon size will allow the grains to float freely while they steep, rather than being compacted together, so you get better extraction. Also, the bag is reusable.
