Anyone have any comments on this kit? There are no reviews on the NB website.
Also, the recipe calls for wyeast 2112 (california lager) to be used. My ambient is about 58 F now. The optimum temp is 58-68. Anyone with a comment on how low you need to keep this yeast? I will not be using a swamp cooler or other temperature control methods. I am a little gunshy after using wyeast 1007 (German ale) and fermenting too high making a pretty bad beer.
