I’m about to brew the New Old Ale kit from Northern Brewer and I had a question about some yeasts I wanted to use.

The kit comes with the Wyeast #1084 Irish Ale. I also have a vial of WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast. What are your thoughts on using both of these together?

Using them both together is a waste of one or the other yeast. Use the Irish yeast and make a starter with it...

+1 to what Soulive said. Contrary to what you may think, most yeast strains don't live in harmony with one another. You won't be able to just mix two together and get a hybrid beer. Most likely, one will outgrow the other and the lesser will die off as a result....as Soulive said, a waste of one yeast.
