Default Muntons vs. Breiss LME

One is $8.99 per 3.3lb and the other $11.99 for 3.3 at my LHBS. Can anyone tell me if one is better than the other?

I've not been happy with Breiss among the many LMEs I've tried, I have felt that it gave the least satisfying taste to the end product. Which one is cheaper?

I've always had fabulous results with Munton's.....33 lb jug at Bell's Brewery in Kalamazoo is always $40!

I really like Muntons. You get what you pay for......there is a reason for the price difference.

You really should consider the 33 lb bulk Muntons. I buy them for $46.

Anyone know how Alexander's measures up with these others? My LHBS carries it in bulk (55gl Drums) which he actually goes through pretty quickly. He carries other stuff in the little 3.3lb tins too, but they tend to be pricier.

Alexander's is similar to Breiss.....American made both of them. I find them fine for any style that does not need to be malty. If you want Malty then do not use these.
