Default moving up!

I bought a Irish Red Ale kit from Austin brewing. However, since I will be brewing a Scottish ale this weekend, I won't be able to get to this for 2 or 3 weeks, maybe more (since the holidays are coming.) What is the best way to store the extract that is in the pail? Refridge?

edit: oh, I am moving up from the Mr Beer kits.

I buy bulk extract from my LHBS, and that has to be refrigerated if it's not kept on nitrogen like it is in the store. I would assume refrigeration would be your best bet, and even if it doesn't need it it can't hurt it.

A general rule of thumb with ingredients...hops in the freezer, everything else in the fridge.

Marc.
