Default Making beer with fruit

I've heard alot of different ways to add fruit to beer. I'm thinking about starting my 3rd batch this weekend and going to brew some raspberry whear bear. I have a can of oregon raspberries (seedless) and can't decide how to or when to add it the brew. I'm thinking that I will let it ferment in the primary for the first week. Any suggustions?

I'm drinking a cherry wheat made from Oregon puree. Very easy. Add it to the secondary. DO NOT BOIL. It could gel up like jam. According to the Oregon web site they are already sanitized. Just dump it in.
