Default Kit beer spliting ?

Hi folks I'm thinking of brewing up a kit beer I have done it 3 times in the past each was a success but now I have moved in with a family member and need to keep the brew bin in my bedroom I don't think I'll have room for a five gallon one but is it possible to use half the extract and keep the second half in a lock top jar in the fridge till the first batch is done ?

Thanks

Lewis

Yes, that will work. You will also need to split the hops. Buy a new packet of yeast for the second batch.

It is possible, but you should use it as soon after opening as possible to preserve freshness.
