Default I want my natural gas back

I am in the process of moving my brewery to the country. I have had my new garage wired specifically for my outdoor brewing area. I added an indoor water line to support that brewing area. Tomorrow, a gas guy will install the fittings and line, (L.P.), needed to use my single tier ten gallon system.

In anticipation of a heavy all grain brewing schedule to fill my pipeline I thought I would brew a couple of extract brews, then a number of five gallon all grain brews to dial in my system from a natural gas to a propane operation.

So today: Temps in the high 30's found that my 20 lb LP tank recently filled began to fade early due to frosting over. Pulled the other 20lb'er from my grill and soon froze it up.

Water baths helped until dark, when, with 17 minutes left to the boil, I again lose my rolling boil due to frozen tanks.

My Plan: I stopped the process and moved my two 20 lb tanks into the house to warm up. My plan is to bring the wort to boil and finish my process in the morning. I expect a low of 27F tonight. Therefore, I am not concerned about bugs infection or anything like that at all.

My Question: Anybody see a problem with this? Thanks.

I'm surprised you are having problems, I have no problems brewing in the 5-10F range with a full tank. I suggest moving your tank closer to the burner to keep it warm and windscreens will help too.

TY for the response. I have been using a wind screen and yes, that has helped.

I will add some more and move the tank closer to the kettle.
