I'm brewing Jamil's Ol' Yule Loggy and it's calling for spices.
Any recommendations on the best type of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, or allspice to use to get the best flavor?
There's a really good spice/herb shop at a market (Findlay Market, Cincinnati) i'm going to where you can buy just the amount you need. This guy has everything, so i want to get what would work the best.
Also, any recommendations for hazelnut extract? I also brewed the Chocolate Hazelnut Porter from the same book.
