trying some lighter styles for different reasons. been using corn syrup and honey to make it big. whats the best way to make a big, light ale ?
You could use rice as well...
Extract I take it? Use more light extract and an high attenuating yeast. Maybe some corn sugar but not to much.
AG.. then pils malt and mash at say 148F.
What % are you thinking of?

not sure about the rice thing...can u explain
heres my recipe
9 lbs lme
12 oz honey
32 oz corn syrup / via krogers(listed NO vanilla)
1oz brewers gold
1 oz centenial
1 lb cara foam
10 gallons/2 ale pales
just moved to secondary looks/smells great
im thinking 5-6
Just use more LME, unless you want a dryer tasting beer.
You might try 7.5 lb DME, ditch the corn syrup, and use 1-3 lbs honey
