Default general extract fruit question

I just ordered a northern brewer American wheat beer extract kit and 3 lb can of blueberry puree. Should I put the puree in the primary or in the secondary and rack on top of it? Are there different effects between doing one way or the other? As in more flavor or more fermentables?

Secondary. Fruit is very high in simple sugars. If a lot of simple sugar is present in your wort the yeast may prefer eat that rather than the more complex "normal beer" sugars in your wort, causing a high FG.
