I think your beer will be ok. The dry hops should sink into the beer once the krausen falls away completely.
I usually give the beer a full 2 or 3 weeks in the primary before racking to a secondary, then add dry hops in the secondary. I'll let the hops sit in the beer for a week or so then bottle.
Primary/Secondary: #99 Northern English Brown, #100 American Pale Ale
Kegged: #97 Raspberry Wheat, #98 Red IPA
Planned: American Brown Ale
