3 HB of brown ale and 2 hours later its it the bucket. I have my 1st stout under my belt, and I hit my mark of 1054.

I again used 2 gal. ice to chill wort and it works great, any comments on the ice theory? I am drinking a brown ale that I used ice with before and it is pretty good, I don't see why more people don't use it.
I am looking for a beer the wife will drink and I can stand. I love the darks and can't hardly drink IPA or anything extra bitter. She says she likes the brown, but it is too heavy.
