Default Fermentation rate question

Hey guys,
I was just wondering about something. I brewed Wed night.

An extract stout:
3.3 lbs LME
5 lbs DME
2 oz cascade hops
1 lb specialty grains
2 oz black patent
dry yeast - rehydrated with a little bit of DME to start.

Its only bubbling about once every 4 seconds and hasn't done any faster than that at all. With two days in the carboy am I OK to give it a good shakey shake? Would that help it along??

Should be going, dry yeast usually starts up pretty fast. and temperature is good. A shake wouldn't hurt.

Once every four seconds is fine. I use dry yeasts and most of my ferments are in this range.

Leave it alone and let nature takes it's course. Everything is fine.

Is it possible that the fermentation rate peaked during one night? and now it has slowed to 4 seconds?
