Doing an Octoberfest style Ale.
Using 3.3 Munich Liquid malt, 3.3 Light Amber liquid malt. 1 pound light amber dry malt. Using 1 oz Tettenang and .5 oz German Hercules hops.. Any opinions on hop schedule? I was thinking .75 Tettenang for 60/ .5 Hercules at 30, and rest of Tettenang (.25) at 15 min.
I'd probably skip the 30 minute addition. If you want more bitterness, add more at 60, and if you want more hop character, add a touch more at 15. Additions around 30 minutes are really playing either role very well.
