Default Double an extract based recipe

I posted in another thread about receiving a 10 gallon Blichmann brew pot. I'm still extract brewing with plans on going AG (BIAB) in the future. With this new pot I plan on full boils, but wondered if I could do a two batch partial boil to make 10 gallons of one recipe. Is this possible and yet achieve good results?

Sure, you should be able to boil 7-8 gallons in that pot without too much trouble if you've got the burner capacity. Won't change the final product much when diluted to 10 gallons.
