Default Dog Slobber Maple Brown Ale

I love brown ales so I wanted to try adding a maple flavor through priming. I'm pretty new at extract brewing so I hope my recipe has enough detail :/ this recipe makes slightly less then a 5 gal batch. It has a noticeable maple flavor with a malty base and not too much hoppiness.

OG 1.035 FG 1.01
Grains
169g chocolate malt
390g dark crystal malt

Liquid malts
1.3kg light unhopped malt extract
1.2kg dark unhopped malt extract

Hops
22g northern brewers
16g fuggles

Yeast
Windsor dried ale

Priming
1 1/2 cup pure Canadian maple syrup!

Method:
Steep grains for 30mins in 4L water at 70'C then bring to a boil and add northern brewer hops add fuggles after 30mins and continue boil for 15mins. Then add to primary fermenter with 20L of cold water and pitch yeast.

Keep in primary for 1 week and transfer to secondary at temp of 20'C for 2 weeks. Add maple syrup to secondary stir and bottle... Ready to drink in 1 week.

To get the dog slobber flavor have your dog slobber up your brewing equipment before you start.
