A few pounds of my malt dried out and hardened. Any ideas on how to make it useable.
I would put it in a sturdy sack and pound the heck out if it with a hammer. Then put the chunks in hot water and stir thoroughly to let them dissolve before turning on the heat.

It's unbelievably hygroscopic. Sucks water right out of the air. My practice is to triple-bag it when I buy in bulk, and keep the bags open as little as possible when I'm scooping it out.
