Default Cooper's Euro Lager 1 for 3

I enjoy their English Bitter, but I'm just writing a quick review of their Euro Lager for anyone considering it.

I just find it doesn't deliver enough flavor to really separate it from a regular BMC. Maybe if I added a late flavor hop like Mt Hood or Hallertauer it'd be different.

I just find it bland. Of course cold and carbed I'll drink it like a champ, but just letting you all know.

I just posted this in another thread, it's a great article from Oz.Craftbrewer.com, on how to make the best beer with cooper's kits...It's from Australia, the home of coopers, and from the craftbrewer radio guys.

Improving Your Kit

Yeah, with their english bitter I just added a 1# over what they suggest for additional malt, and 1ounce extra flavoring hop, and make it a 5.5 gallon batch.

I should have done the same with this kit.
