Default Chocolate Hazelnut Porter with Cocoa Nibs for Secondary & few questions?

So I brewed a batch of Chocolate Hazelnut Porter (Jamil's CHP) on Thanksgiving day.

When I bought the kit from morebeer they were out of Cocoa Nibs so they said I could just go to whole foods and pick up an 8oz pack and they would do the same thing.

The recipe sheet called for TCHO cocoa nibs and all I could find were raw cocoa nibs will these work?

Also I have done some research into sanitizing them and have found varied answers.

What do you guys think? Soak in Vodka? Soak in Bourbon (will this impart a slight bourbon taste?)? Can they be soaked in StartSan?

How long should I dry nib with them? Sheet says 1-3 weeks anyone have experience with this kit?

Any advice appriciated, thanks in advance!

Cheers

I thought Jamil's recipe called for 8oz of unsweetened cocoa powder in the boil.

The recipe sheet from morebeer calls for 8oz cocoa nibs in the secondary for 1-3 weeks, no cocoa powder.

Does anyone have any info on sanitizing the nibs?
