can anyone convert and scale this back for a 5 Gallon extract brew?
Mash water: 42 bbls, Sparge water: 23 bbls

2600 lbs. 2-row pale
350 lbs. caramel @ 60L
10 lbs. Dingemans Special B

2631g Columbus @ boil
3543g Cascade @ 1:25
6715g Chinook @ 1:30 (flame out)
3500g Amarillo dry hop
3500g Simcoe dry hop
3500g Chinook dry hop

Target Plato: 16

Well, I'll take a swing at the math, but I'm not sure how linear the recipe scales...

42bbl x 31 gal/bbl =1302 gal
23bbl x 31 gal/bbl =713 gal
Grain absorption estimated at 1 pint/lb of grain
2960 lbs x .125 = 370 gal absorption
1302+713-370= 2015 gal pre-boil
SWAG 15% boil off gives a batch size just under 1400 gallons
5/1400 = 0.0036 5 gallon batch multiplier yields:

9.36# 2-row
1.25# C60
~1/2 oz Special B

1/3 oz Columbus
.44 oz Cascade
.85 oz Chinook
.44 oz each variety dry hop

Am I close??

Oops,. missed the extract brew part.

For extract, they say about .6 times base grain so,
6 lb light DME
Steep the C60 and the special B??
Same hop schedule??

Threw it into Brewtarget:

6 lb light DME
1.25# C60 Steeped
.5 oz Special B Steeped

1/3 oz Columbus 60 min
.44 oz Cascade 25 min
.85 oz Chinook flameout
.44 oz Amarillo dry hop
.44 oz Simcoe dry hop
.44 oz Chinook dry hop

OG 1.057
IBU 25.6
SRM 12.2

The above assumes a full boil. Partial boils make hop utilization suffer, so you should up the boiled hops.
16 degrees plato = 1.065 SG so it's close.....

What style is it supposed to be??

Looks like and APA/IPA type recipe to me.

It was a beer I had at a restaurant called La Marenda (I think) on National Ave in Milwaukee. The Beer was called National Ave Pale Ale and it was delicious. It was made by Lakefront Brewery and was supposedly exclusive to this restaurant.I emailed Lakefront brewery and asked for the recipe, and this is what they sent me. I would like to try and reproduce it. It was awesome!!!! If I had to describe it i would say a cross between a red ale and a pale ale. Copper colored smooth with a hoppy finish. I don't like a real hoppy beer and this was awesome if that gives you any description of it!
