Default Bierhaus Spring Mountain kits

Tom, the pizza guy, picked up a bunch of brewing gear cheap. Included were two cans of Bierhaus Spring Mountain extract, one light, one dark. These have hop extract and hop pellets in them according to the labels. The usual "add a box of sugar". The Bierhaus webste says zip about the kits. We'll use DME, maybe steep some grains, proof the yeast, etc.

Does anyone have experience with the hopping levels in these kits? I have no experience with pre-hopped extracts and would hate to waste brewing effort on something nasty.
