Default BB European Bock

Has anyone ever tied a BB European Bock Extract kit and let the beer ferment like an ale instead of a yeast. I know the kit says that the yeast will do fine like an ale but I was just wandering if anyone else has tried this and how did it do?

Did you try this kit? If so how did it end up?

It is easier to do things right the 1st time rather than to explain why it wasn't when you have to do it the 2nd time.
