Default Alpha King Clone + Agave?

My wife and I are planning to brew an IPA. We were looking around at World Market and I found a 20 oz. bottle of agave nectar on sale. I thought it might be fun to add some agave nectar to an IPA and see what it did to the taste. While looking for a suitable recipe, I decided I might try an Alpha King clone (mostly because I know what the beer should taste like without agave, so hopefully I could better know what to expect). I'm using the recipe found here:

2004 Homebrew Log

Any thoughts? Are there any obvious reasons I'm not thinking of as to why I should not add agave nectar to this beer? Should I possibly not add all 20 oz? Should I tweak the recipe in some way to help balance out the agave nectar? Maybe change some of the hops? I'm just looking for some thoughts and opinions on this idea before I brew. Thanks!

You could try adding a small amount of the agave to the Alpha King to get an idea of what your clone might taste like.
