Bottled and it ended up around 6.38% ABV. Little lower than I wanted but it has an awesome flavor and I cant wait to pop my first top in three weeks. I will post my official taste profile and review in three weeks.

Do you have the recipe for this?

I just bought a bunch of New Zealand hops. I'm sure I could come up with something, but thought it might be easier to have a base to build on. Thanks!

mine was the extract kit. Here is the recipe;

1 1/2 lbs Rye Malt
9 lbs Extra Pale Extract
3 oz Pacific Jade
1 oz Pacifica
1 oz Nelson Sauvin
White Labs California Ale 001 yeast

Bring 2 gallons of water to 155° abd soak rye malt in grain bag for 25min.
Add a gallon of water after soak and bring to boil, take off heat and stir in extract

Bring back to rolling boil and start 60 min timer;
Add 2 oz of Pacific Jade @ 60
Add 1 oz of Pacifica @ 20
Add 1/2 oz of Pacific Jade @ 15
(I added half whirlfloc tab but not in original recipe at 15 min mark)

Cool to 80° add water to make 5 1/4 gallons.

Pitch white lab 001 yeast (califorina ale 001)

Dry hop with 1 oz Nelson and 1/2 oz Pacific Jade

Good luck!

How'd this come out? I think I'll finally get around to being able to make this.

I brewed this kit back in November and only have a few left. Great brew. Since they're not featuring it any more, I may have to order the ingeredients and brew it again...

I ended up coming up with my own ingredients for all grain, and then adjusted the hop schedule for a full boil. I basically just cut the hops in half. We'll see.

I brewed the double IPA version of this brew from AHS and it is one of the best I have done. Very aromatic, floral and delicious! Very different taste but very good. I can't find it on thier site any longer, hope they didn't discontinue it. Will have to keep looking!
