Default 1,000 Bottles of beer ... update

Gentlemen,

'300' Bottles are on line in the 'former pantry.'
And with 'the big brewpush', before hot weather I may make it to 500!
As usual, 3 secondarys are full and ready to bottle the next three days.
2 Primarys are full and tomorrow is brew day.
The 3 secondarys = about 135 + '300' = 435 Bottles!
{And I have 'sub-hoarded' a six pack or two out of the better batches of the winter, so I can drink that while the big brewpush of the spring happens. To 'get me by' as it were.

With the three primarys transfered to secondarys and finally bottled,
and enough sub-hoarded brew to 'get me by' ...
lets see... 435 Bottles! +
{45 bottles per batch average...} x 3...
=135... + 435 = 570 !!!

570 bottles of beer in my brewery is a strong probability.
I will do better next year.
Oh! and I will post some better pictures.
I noticed the bottles on the upper shelves were clean but the lower ones had been bottled when I had evidently been making pizzas and my hands were oily.

Boys, wash your bottles on the outside,
{hot water and a clean rag, no soap}
and rinse them well before filling them as it makes them look much better. In the brewery or serving,
a clean bottle makes me feel good.

Just curious: what are you gonna do with all those bottles? I have about that much, and I'm struggling to drink it before it before it goes bad. After all, not every batch I make is a high-alcohol bruiser that can age. Maybe yours are? Or maybe you have a horde of beer-hungry minions to feed it to?

Also, gotta ask: are you Nazi SS?

"Gott Mit Uns" means "God's with us". It was the motto of the Prussian kings, and was on the belt buckles of the regular German army in WWII - the SS used the motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" (my honor is loyalty).

So, I would say JacktheKnife is not a "nazi", but rather a WWII buff such as myself.

Bottling with mittens on would be difficult.

Evan,

570 bottles... I plan on drinking them!
Seriously, when in the bottle before hot weather,
the brew will last.
But at the rate of 10 a day, 300 per month,
570 bottles of 'Acht pfund Hammerbier',
will last me all of a couple of months.
If all bottled by mid-may,
I will 'run out' by the really hot weather in July.
Dern!
And nope I ain't into socialism, just studying German.
I'm 25% German blood. 25% Blot Deutsche Ich bin.

Yeah...I've got one of those belt buckles at home. My Grandfather pulled it from a dead soldier during the war.

10 bottles per day, every day? I knew a guy like that. He always came into our shop and bought Aventinus by the case, and went through a case a week. One day he shuffled in, looking distraught. He mumbled that he had been to see the doctor, and was in very poor health, mostly from all the excessive beer drinking. He's been drinking Clausthaler amber ever since. Talk about a buzz kill. Be careful, Jack. 10 bottles per day every day for 2 months has the propensity to put a real hurtin' on ya.

Gentlemen,

The weather is getting hot
and I have officially stopped brewing for the summer.
There are two primarys being reracked tonight.
And one secondary which will probably be bottled tomorrow.
Hmmmm,
375 full, clean, 'former Bavarian beer' bottles,
{with 'Grolsch' caps}
{A beautiful and inspiring sight.}
+ the 135 in the carbouys...
are safely in
'the former pantry.'
510... + whats in the fridge...
Call it:

500 Bottles of beer on the wall...
500 bottles of beer!!!
Take one down, passhh it around...
499 bottles of beer on the wall!!!

So in conclusion:
In shooting for 1,000 but hitting 500.
What have I learned?
The first thing which comes to mind is the pizza dough
needs more oil, and less flour.
A 6 hour rise time followed by overnight in the fridge.
Then another 6 hour rise at room temperature
or near the oven is better...
{If its on}
And the pizza dough needs to be sticky at the time of rolling it out!

I gotta get me another piano...!

I got pulled over and thrown in jail and beat up bad.
2-3-4 weeks ago.
I was in a wreck 6 years ago,
or was it 7?
3 neck vertabrea broken, right shoulder crushed,
coma 5 weeks and hospital including rehab 5 months.
I was reported dead by the cop
who was called out to the 'scene' at sunup.
He said two years later:
"That motorcycle helmet looked like a truck had run over it."
"That was the deadest man I ever saw!"

But they can't get rid of me that easy.
As the disability judge said:
"Jack, you were just too tough."
I told the judge:
"Judge sir, I owed my life to GOD
& JOE WEIDER.
Thank you.

As I said I was going to the store for milk to make my dinner gravy with.
I had cooked two pieces of chicken a breast and a thigh
and there was enough cracklings for gravy!
I get pulled over and ordered out of the car!
The first thing I said is:
"I'm disabled and can't be doing hand springs or anything."
I had the last years insuarance card,
'the current this years card'
and next years card which hadn't even gone into effect yet.
Paid for!
In my glove box, I just gave the cop the wrong card.
He wouldn't let me go back and get the other.
He wouldn't get it his self.
I just got arrested and thrown in jail.

There I was...
Hold on I gotta go get me another Hammerbier...

Alright, and there I was...
In the jail they jumped on me and pinned me down.
3-4-5 of them, jail cops!
And there I was...
Face on the floor!
A jail goon as big as me with one knee on my broken neck,
the other knee on my broken shoulder.
The rest of them twisting my right arm,
{the one with the crushed shoulder}
2 - 3 minutes just to make it hurt.
And putting big iron hand cuffs on the ones with the big bar on them!
And threw me in a xxxxxx concrete box.

Now about the piano,

My sister who is a paralegel says you can't sue cops.
Unless there is something on video.
Like the rodney king thing.
Then yes you can sue big time!

Beating up a disabled person is about as cowardly as it gets.
Its like shooting the wrong person.
Opps!
I have sent a letter to a lawyer who specialises in Violation of civil rights
and we will see.

I would like to get an upright Steinway,
or a used Bosendorfer grand.
What do y'all think?

Oh well.
You will just have to brew twice as much next beer season.
1000 bottles does seem like a lot but make it strong so it lasts.

10 years later
down the whitewashed stairs
feeling the cold on your face grabbing a bottle
wonder of the contents.
