Default (Yet another) Crush Evaluation

Hi all,

Any comments in this? First run through a monster mill set at 0.038.

This is a hell of a lot finer than the LHBSimageuploadedbyhome-brew1392487596.797197.jpg

I'd say you could crush it more.
I use a MM2 and I have it set @ .032 I get a finer crush with more powder. I batch sparge in a cooler and use a cpvc manifold, No stuck sparges ever. I all ways get good numbers.

Oh yea, I only send it through the mill, once

Looks perfect to me... intact bran, and fairly chewed up endosperm.

I think I'll run with this gap and see how it plays out. There's such a difference between this and the crush I've been getting for the LHBS that I'm concerned my process is going to change a lot.
