I brewed BierMunchers Nierra Sevada (http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f66/nier...a-clone-27673/) which has gotten great reviews. I was looking for session pale ale, so I wasnt pounding down 8% double IPAs all the time!
Unfortunately I forgot to take my OG, but i tasted the first runoffs and it was malty. Anyways, I mashed right at 154, had great fermentation activity, got down to 1.01 cold crashed for about a week and bottled,
Opened the first one saturday, it was a half of bottle, left over from the bottom of the bucket and it tasted like carbonated water, no body what so ever, no hop profile either. I thought maybe this was just from being a half bottle, maybe it was oxidized or something, so I went to crack one open last night, and same thing.
What happened? Any ideas? I used US-05 instead of the wyeast...
