I guess this is a pretty nice kit if...
- you want mega-high quality
- money is not an object
You can piece this together for way less $$ by using kegs and stainless braid instead of a false bottom. I think I put mine together for around $150, and that included buying an angle grinder to cut the tops off the kegs. The standard keg size is 15.5 gal. If you shop around, you can find them, though it may take some effort. There are several homebrew clubs in AZ, so I assume the source of equipment is plentiful.
I'm sure you can boil in that pot, so that isn't a problem.
Of course, if you have the $$, buy it and enjoy!
Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Two things complete your pirate persona: style and swagger. Maybe a little too much swagger sometimes -- but who really cares? Arr!
