hi,
i want to add a spigot to my HLT so i think i will order this from morebeer:

the only problem is that i am not a very skilled driller (i do have a drill) and dont know what i need to make the hole in my pot. could anyone plz let me know what tools i need to make a hole in my pot
(maybe with links where to buy them)?

You might be able to get a cheaper one at harbor freight, but you get what you pay for. Drilling the hole is so much easier with a quality bit. Plenty of pressure, slow drill speed, and liberal amounts of cutting oil. Too fast and you'll overheat the metal and it will harden and ruin your bit. Good luck. It's pretty easy. Oh yeah, drill a small pilot hole before using the step bit.

A smaller drill bit.

I just used like a 1/4" bit.. anything as long as it's big enough for your tapered or step bit to get started..
