So I am literly in the middle of my second all grain mash... I missed 154 degrees... I hit 148... so I had to add some boiling water to brin it up to temp. is this ok? i used an extra 3/4 gallon to do so. and do i need to do anything different?
Just realize the temp drop for next time and adjust accordingly. Looks like you did the right thing to me. Just subtract 3/4 of a gallon from your sparge water or plan on a longer boil.
